2011 BullFrog 231
« on: February 24, 2011, 09:47:53 pm »
Decided on the BullFrog 231. I wanted a smaller spa that was built well. It seemed that all of the others I looked at were built the same way. The biggest difference seemed to be in name alone. I like the fact that the BullFrogs dont use wood in the construction. That may or may not be an issue.
I will recieve the spa in about two to three weeks. I will post my experience as honestly as I can.
Patrick
P.S. I will post pics of the install and such.  ;D

It IS as bad as you think and they ARE out to get you.

This is where the BullFrog will be sitting. I finished the privacy fence today and the 220 is ready and waiting. I still need to complete some landscaping and such. Privacy still needs to be improved.  ::)

A little more privacy

Got the raised bed built. Planted some Olive trees and Golden Broom. The raised bed will have the four Climbing Jasmines and other plants yet to be decided. I am hoping this will make the spa area both a private and enjoyable area to soak.

Water Chemistry Results
« Reply #6 on: March 07, 2011, 10:15:48 pm »
I took a water sample into work today and got these results:
Hardness: Ca = 96
               Total = 104
               Other = 8 [originally posted as Mg. This may not be the correct constituant, but the value is correct.]
Alalinity:   p = neg
               m = 80
ph:           8.12

2011 BullFrog 231 Time to Soak and Relax
« Reply #9 on: March 25, 2011, 05:44:22 pm »
Oh well the delivery was a little late. No fault of BullFrog. The shipper decided to ship from LA at their leisure. Now it is time to enjoy. I have included photos of the equipment compartment and wiring. The hardest part was trying to move the 6 gauge wires into the terminal strip. Chemistry was easy to get into spec and my GFI test went perfect. 96 degrees now. Set for 100. Cant wait! The Cover Caddy works fine so far.

Report to date; I am very happy. The size is perfect and I really like being able to switch up the Jet Packs. I have already done this on the lounger. I do love to relax in my BullFrog.   ;D
Chemistry is kind of finicky due to the small water capacity. After receiving and using the Taylor 2006 kit, chemistry was a lot easier to get perfecto.
