I have a 2002 cameo. I have gotten a lot of use out of it but lately just getting tired of it. Cover lifter broke this week and ripped cover where it lifts also. I am getting laid off work and dont want to spend any money on it and would just to shut it down at least for a while maybe a long while. Is there anything special I should do?

If the spa is subject to freezing temperatures, hire a professional to winterize it. If you try and do it yourself, it may end up costing you more in the long run if you don't get it done correctly.
