ClearWater Hot Tubs
« on: February 01, 2011, 06:32:44 pm »
So my married kids are thinking about buying a home and it has a ClearWater hot tub in the backyard. They asked me if they are any good and I don't know anything about them. I know opinions might be all over the place but thought I would ask for input. I guess the price is right unless it is going to be a maintainance nightmare for them. Thanks in advance.

I don't have direct knowledge of them but I hear more postive than negative things about them on these sites, maybe a little mixed but certainly no major red flags. The key would seem to be that the spa is free and hopefully its up and running.

Hey Scott, they are still in business, made just a few miles south of us.    They seem to be ok, we work on them from time to time.

 Hi all,

I am very interested to hear any opinions on Clearwater Spas,  my husband and I have just started looking for a hot tub and so far I think its between them and Beachcomber.  Any info would be much appreciated.

Thank you :)

I don't have any experience with either of those brands but you might get more responses if you start a new thread with your question.  ;)

They are still in business over near Seattle, We picked up the line 5 months ago, they seem to be put together very well, Have not had really any issues,,, The newer ones have the AIRS lifter, it attaches to the tub, and has a bar run through it, Those i am not really a fan of, We now order them in with the standard sunstar cover and the covermate easy for the lifter....
