i guess the corners are a little bit rounded do i need a cut corner spa? my spa islander dx-300 must be rare becuase i can't find it on any of the brand names on the spacover sites.

here is a link to the spa i have. is it square or round?
http://www.coverupindustries.com/SpasDXSeries.aspx

i read it as 79"x79" square. sound right?

You have a square spa with rounded corners ("cut corners" are straight cut diagonal  corners).
If you can't sell it on eBay, it may not even qualify as landfill.

perfect, thanks.

all the paperwork we have (we didn't buy spa, came with house we bought) says it is islander dx-300. picture on website matches the spa and gives the measurements of 79" x 79". i (attempted) measured the spa and that mesurement seems close, but not totally sure.

trust the website?

79"x79" square spa with rounded corners.
