Hot Springs Grandee

Finally stop procrastinating and placed an order for the Hot Springs Grandee. I got the ACE salt water system, cover, lift, steps, starter chem. kit and delivery for $11,700. While the price is high, I'm comfortable with the dealer and the Hot Springs reputation.
The choice was between this and a Thermospa Manhattan or if I went cheap, the Evolution Spa at Costco for $5.5K. I just couldn't convince myself that these two would be headaches down the road.....HOPE I'm right!!!

Thanks all. Now the mad scramble to get the patio put in for the tub to be placed on! Found a good contractor....all systems go...will be soaking by Labor Day just in time for the cooler Northeast nights.

Had a Costco Spa for one year, it is being sent back this week. Nothing but problems with it, the only good thing is Costco return policy gave me one year to return with full refund. I am also looking at the Grandee, plus the Sundance Optima, and the Clearwater Tradition, still trying to make up my mind.

Good choice PJC, the Grandee is the tops of those 3 IMO. Stick around and let us know how it goes.

Aire,
Check out the ACE salt system for the Hot Springs. This is one feature that sold me. The water feels silky soft without the strong chemical smell. The "list" for this is $1,499 but I got it for $999. I hope that it will be as good as what I'm told....lower maint., less hassle, cleaner water.
Anyone out there with working experience with the ACE system?
Thanks.

We have one running in our 2010 Vanguard Demo spa. So far it seems to just take care of itself. Add some water now and then, balance and put it in boost mode when it needs it. Very simple. Very convenient
