After 7 years of talking about them in this forum I finally got to sit in a new HS Vanguard this past weekend at my sister'ss house. They are happy with the tub and the dealer. We first got in it was all 4 of us, and the water overflowed a little. Later my wife and I tried it out alone and got to play with the bells and whistles and enjoyed it very much. The jets were not under powered as I feared it might.
My sister got the Pearl Finish and it was a little strange getting in and out of, but I think that is based on what I am use to with my tub. I'm sure people would find getting in and out of mine strange, but I'm use to it. I think solely on getting in an out, I think I prefer my textured finish. The depth was great for all of us except my 4' 11" sister who must use a pilllow, but she seems to have accepted that.
