I own a soft tub- and am generally happy with it. There are no distributors in my area- so I have to mail order all supplies.  Currently I use a product called sof-chlor.   Is there any alternative products that I can purchase at a regular pool store that would be safe for use in a softub?  If so how would I use them...i.e. amount and frequency.   Thank you.

Having handled SofTub in the past, and witnessing how consumers care for them, I would strongly recommend "SofTub chemicals" ONLY.  They are buffered for the vinyl liner.  Regular chemicals can and will do damage to the vinyl skin, which can be replaced by a "new" vinyl skin for close to a $1,000.  The cost of potential damage far exceeds the savings of any "sale priced" chemicals that could do some serious damage to your tub.

Trying to be the unbaised voice of reason.
