Just got home a little while ago.  Awesome game!  Wish I could buy stock in Desean Jackson jerseys because they won't be able to keep them on the shelves.

If you get the NFL Network, they usually rebroadcast the games during the week.  May be at an inopportune time, but at least you could record it.

I think I will have a beer or two in the hot tub tonight to celebrate .  8-)

Dallass next Monday night!

Hi guys!!  You KNOW I had to see this thread!!!

Congrats to all of us Pennsylvania teams...looks like Steelers, Philly, Pitt and PSU all won!!!  But the Buccos, well, not been a good year.

[glow]Dallass[/glow]

Hahaha, I was crackin up!!  (though, my son is currently a 3 month Dallas resident, still a Steeler fan!)  Gotta admit, I had to root for them today, since they played the Browns, but if the Browns weren't in our division, I would've rooted them on!
The grass is greener on the other side because the bulls**t is better...

Just because you beat up on a J.V. team...I mean the rams, dosen't mean it's time to talk Tampa.  Next week you'll be 1-1.  You don't really think you can beat the Cowboys  ;)

I was to busy Sunday night watching the Bears manhandle the Colts. I did spend the day watching all the games at once on the Rez Zone channel and DirecTV Game mix. You can view all 8 games at once, switch audio between them with the cursor and click on one to tune in.

The Eagles, Steelers, Atalanta, and the Bills all looked great. Favre beat the Dolphins but they only had one win last year. I am looking forward to seeing him play a better team next week.

There is only one team I despise, which is Oakland. Cutler just scored on them with a nice looking drive.

The Eagles have beaten the 'boys the past two years in Texas Stadium.  And they had done so quite convincingly, I might add.  I'm a firm believer that things come in three's so.....  Eagles 23, Dallass 17.

We will see if Dallas is as good as the Browns made them look.

Dallas has a legitimate shot this year. Romo has a lot of talent and I like him a lot better than Brady. I don't think the Giants will repeat. My team (the Bears) is too unpredictable, they tend to get far and then the wheels come off.

We won't know how the season is going to shape up until at least week 8 and even so, there are always surprise teams like last years Giants. It will be a great year for football but I would put money on the Cowboys right now.

The Pats are finished IMO. They looked pretty good week 1 but it's too much to put on a 2nd string QB.

Dallass was the team to beat last year, too.  ;D

When you say you like Romo better than Brady, that's based on what exactly?  Just personal choice, right?  It can't be based on what the two have accomplished on the football field.

And if I remember correctly, wasn't Brady a 2nd string QB who led the Patriots to the Super Bowl after Bledsoe went down?  Not that I'm a New England fan, but you cannot discount them.  They play in a weak division, so they are going to make the playoffs.  Then, as we've seen last year, anything can happen.

1) Dallas definitely has a legitimate shot and has been the favorite in the NFC all along and after week 1 that didn’t change. I'd be shocked if anyone disagreed with that statement.

2) I definitely prefer Romo over Brady. Both his knees are healthy!!! Before that I think you'd be nuts to take anyone over Brady (even Manning) and that is no knock on Romo because he looks awesome but Brady has been in another stratosphere.

3) I wouldn't write off the Pats just yet. If I had to guess I'd put them at 10-6 or 11-5. I've seen a few teams make and even win the Super Bowl with a QB who is little more than a care taker. That Pats team is still talented. Besides, none of us really know what Cassell will do. He could be a bum, a serviceable QB or a good QB just waiting to get his chance.

Dax,
I think you have selective memory.  When philly came in to Big D and squeeked by the Boys 10 - 6 (not "quite convincingly") the Boys were 12-1 and had wrapped up a first round bye and the division.  The Cowboys were on cruise control from then on.  (Including the playoffs) However when it mattered the Boys put it to philly  38-17.  I think philly might be a touchdown better this year.  Dallas 31-philly 17

All I remember is Romo botching the hold for the winning field goal on fourth down against Seattle in 2006. Poor guy, he tried so hard to get it in the end zone after the mishandle but turned it over on downs. The Seahawks ran out the remaining minut or so and Romo sat on the bench with a towel over his head for half an hour.

NFL Network re-airs the four best games from the weekend on Wed & Thursday. They are condensed down to about an hour with all the non-essential plays deleted. They simply put "three plays later" on the screen to let you know.

This is a great way to see the games you missed or couldn't watch in your area on Sunday.
