Removing Jets from 2000 Arctic Cub Spa

Got my used tub up and running, but obviously the previous owner didn't mind lots of sand in the tub. Now most of my jets are kinda sticky or seized up with sand. Removing them is a real ...ummm difficulty. Is there any kind of trick or tool that I can use to give me a bit more grip on the jet when I turn it to remove it. It seems the only way to get them out is to keep spinning them till they pop out on their own!!

No tool. Sounds like you are doing it right though. It could be a build of scale and metals in the water that can sometime appear to be sand. I would start using some metal and scale control in the water, and that should start to help break down and remove the metals from the water. You may need to clean your filter a bit after using the metal control. But yes, they should just turn and twist out. Be careful though as you could break the tabs on the jet and then it wont stay in after that.
