Calspas Ozone Generator Hose Problem
« on: January 04, 2010, 03:52:20 am »
The hose to my Ozone generator appears to be clogged.  Has anyone ever had to unclog one?  I tried using a long wire, but it doesn't seem to unblock.  In the hose, there is a yellowish wax build up.  Any idea?  Thank you.

Welcome to the forum, I have heard that talked about before, I'm sure one of our more technical users will have some input.

Some of the ozone tubes I've run into have a liner inside that breaks down and will clog. Just replace the tubing, remember to run it with a loop above the water line and install a check valve. Most ozone tubing is 1/4" vinyl.
