Every brand has a couple deep spas for larger/taller people so I don't think you need to target a specific brand really. See the local dealers and check out their large, deep spas. The key will be for him to initially dry test it to see how he fits and then wet test those that pass the dry test. Wet testing is always important but doubly so in your case.

I agree completely.  I will also add, look for a brand with open seating as opposed to ones with highly molded seats.  While I'm only 6'2" I find myself sitting across 2 seats or in between seats. The more open seats allow more flexability.   Being tall can have its advantages My tub has a very powerful foot jet, I can sit on the bottom of my tub and my head is still above water and that "foot jet"  makes for a very powerful lower back jet.

I would also agree, definately dry test them, don't just take the salesans word that he will fit, i have encountered this many times on our showroom, but i would look at the deeper spas, there are both lounger and non barrier seats you can look at to see what will fit, spas with molded headrests that protrude into the spa may not be a good option for you. ...enjoy your search......let us know how your search goes...
