Good-bye, Farewell, So Long, Adios
« on: October 14, 2009, 06:26:04 pm »
Wanted to let everybody know that Arctic Spas and I have parted company, effective today, on what we'll describe as early retirement (polite word for laid off).

I've enjoyed my six years with Arctic, and wish the company all the best in the future.

I've also enjoyed my time on this forum.  It's been a pleasure to help visitors, join in the debates, and learn from so many of you.  All the regulars on the forum have my best wishes as well.

Keep soakin'

Tom

Good Luck ... but you don't have to say goodbye, you have plenty on non professionals here, like me, that come to give help or possibly annoy people!

Seriously, I hope all goes well!

Sorry to hear about your situation Tom  :(  This is a big loss for Arcitc and you surely contributed a lot on here. Like Vinny said, hang around...You never know maybe one of the members here might have something that would encourage you to come out of early retirement! ;)  Best wishes for something even better!!

Sorry to hear about that Tom. I think I speak for many of us on here, but thanks for everything that you have done for Arctic Spas, and for assisting all of the customers over the years on these forums. I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors. So long Graybeard!!!! :(

Best of luck, Tom!  Like everyone said, stay around.  This place really needs more consumers or non-professionals, if you will.

I saw you parted ways. You were, and should still be, a great asset to this and other forums. If you are like me you will probably stick around.

Good luck on any and all adventures that may come your way !!!

Best wishes Tom...you were always a class act and managed to stay above the fray better than most, myself included!  It seems like you wore many, many hats in the organization and I'll bet it's going to be tough to replace you if it's even possible.  I join all of the other members in hoping that bigger and better things come your way!

All my best to you and your family Tom. You'll be missed around here. And if you ever find yourself in or around San Francisco, gimmie a call. I rarely turn down a lunch invitation :-)
If you can't sell it on eBay, it may not even qualify as landfill.

Retired (mostly) from the industry after 33 years...but still putzing around with a consumer information website, and trying to sell obsolete owners manuals

Tom,
Good luck to you. Happy early retirement. If you can afford it, please enjoy it. I have always admired your defence of ARTIC Spas without getting overly emotional and always being helpful. I hope you stop in once in a while and keep us informed on your activities.
