Clearwater Orlando....pricing and review
« on: September 05, 2009, 12:05:40 am »
I am looking at the clearwater Orlando as our first spa purchase.  A 5-6 person spa with great therapeutic jets is a must.  We will wet test the unit this week. Any owners on this board?  We were quoted a price of $10,900.00 w/ stairs or a stereo system...delivered and set-up and starter chemicals.  Does this sound like a reasonable deal?  Any comments about comparible models we shoud look at?  Any comments about the company and product?

Thanks

I'm not a dealer or know much about the different spa companies, but for the money you're looking at you should be able to get the same 'deal' on a 'name brand' tub.  i may be wrong but don't think so.

You're on the right track, wet test to see if you get the therapeutic results you want.  Test more than one company, too.  Normally, stairs, delivery/set up, starter chems are throw ins.  I can't imagine you getting a choice of stairs or stereo system, if you have 'skill one' you can make a set of stairs, take the stereo.  How about a cover?

You may not get much of a response over the weekend from those who are much more industry savvy than me so don't get discouraged.

Happy testing

Clearwater isn't talked about much here and I can't say that I know the product too well but I know I'm not at all a fan of the layout of that spa (those seats looked cramped and jammed in together IMO).

For other models/brands which I personally think are some of the best out there I would look at:

(use the dealer locators to see who is local)

thats a good price.  Wet test to see how you fit in those loungers.  Might also want to consider the Monaco if the Orlando doesn't fit you well.
