My local dealer carries only Spa Crest and Coleman hot tubs. The Spa Crest Model 601 Duke Series I is on sale for $3999 (reg price $4999). We know nothing about hot tubs. Would this be a wise purchase

Or should we drive 40 miles up the road to Knoxville & check out what the bigger dealers carry?

Welcome to the forum. I can't offer any thoughts on Spa Crest, but many people buy from dealers 40 miles away. Are the spas still labeled Coleman? Or are the MAXX?

Go to Knoxville. You'll find the major, good brands up there.
