Welcome back Bill. Since they only got a B- for their hot tubs, it's a good thing you didn't go just to rate the tubs.  What did you think of the food? And how about your ports of call? (or should that be port of calls????)  :-?

Everything was quiet here while you were gone... ;)

Compared to our own yes, but my rating was vs other cruise ships I've been on.

Here is Gina and I being lowered into the hot tub.

Next time you book, ask your travel agent to arrange your lodging on one of the decks instead of up in the air  :o.  LOL.

We've been on many cruises in the last 20 years, on four major lines (including RCL), and the hot tubs are always marginal at best.  And the worst part about hot tubs on cruise ships is they often close them up in the early evening, like 6 or 7pm.  We love to sit out under the stars in a hot tub, and on a cruise ship a million miles from anywhere, on the open sea, is that much better.  We've even complained about it to some of the cruise lines, but it's a sore spot with us.   >:(

I went to Vegas last week and sat in the hotel hot tub. The only saving grace was the fact that I could jump in the pool afterward to get their spa water off of me and feel clean. Yuck! Usually I don't even go in public spas but it was a cool afternoon and I figured I'd take the gamble.

On Royal's Voyager class or Freedom class they leave several open 24 hours.  We spent many late nights this cruise soaking before bed.  If  your checkout ourfreedomcruise.com you will see a picture of Freedom's hot tub.
