He may want us to think he's spiritual, but he sure doesn't act like it very often.  He goes on about being kind, and honoring whatever his god is, then blasts out at anyone who challenges him.  He is incapable of rational debate.  He resorts to calling people ignorant or stupid when they say things not in his script.  Doesn't sound much like christian behavior to me.

I agree...He is spiritual to the point that it gets him attention or the ability to pull the wool over someone’s eyes and then he drops the facade

Have any of you guys been on PACER and read the documents relating the case against the Spa Specialist and Cal Spas?

One of the legal documents states that he tried to represent himself, which is always a good choice.  One other document stated that he didn’t show up for one of the proceedings if I read it correctly.  The guy is absolutely amazing.

Edited to state: I did not read the previous pages that said that he did not show up to court.  He is one stupid bugger.

Bill,

PACER is a website that you can sign up for that has every legal document pretty much ever.

Want to know if one of your bosses or competitors ever declared bankruptcy?  It is there.

Want to know if a company you want to buy a spa from has ever been sued?  It is there.

Want to know the detail behind Cal Spas versus the Spa Specialist?  It is there.

This is the site:  http://pacer.psc.uscourts.gov/

It costs 7cents per viewed page.

If I read correctly, the billing for viewing the pages is only sent out once the total is $10, so unless this goes on for over 142 pages or so, would there even be a cost, assuming that's all you ever read on pacer?
Or did I mis-understand their billing policy?

No, I believe they still do a quarterly billing even if it is less than $10 bucks.

All that has to happen is for Jim to make ONE statement and his response will go beyond 142 pages as we've seen from his ramblings. Can you imagine the response if they say "Please state your name."

A little rant of the day...

My favorite thing is when I see the Spa Specialist’s delivery truck with spas to be delivered and the spa wrapping is all mangled and looks like it went through a tornado.

You also will see on spa on its side standing up and another flat.  Why not keep them all flat?

I feel so bad for the people that purchase from him.

So looking at the spa with the side panels off in the picture I have a question....

Does the main trunk line running along the bottom of the cabinet near to the outside panel look like a freeze waiting to happen to anyone but me?

Impossible.  That spa has the SUPER DAYT 400 insulation pack.  The heat recovered from the built in flux capacitor will prevent the spa from ever freezing.
Just top off the plutonium every few thousand years, and you're good to go.

That and never sell this one above the Mason Dixon line will prevent freezing.

For someone who thinks foam is a horrible way to insulate, he sure does use a lot of it.

The other thing is that it doesn't seem as it the manifold is supported in any way other than the hoses going up to the jets...? So what it looks like is that trunk line with the manifold is simply in there flopping....Can you say leak?

Thus illustrating the true beauty of the H***n spa.
No pesky insulation in the way- that manifold is just sitting there readily accessible for when the inevitable leaks from his unsupported pluming appear.
Look at all the room under there.

One of my favorite pics is the one right on his home page.
It shows a brunette sitting in one of his tubs.

The tub is full of foam.

You'd think from the worlds greatest authortity on spas would not have a pic showing his spa filled with foam.  I guess he just overlooked it and didn't notice it.
