Accidently Used Soft Water

  :-[Drained and refilled tub today. Unfortunately I forget to bypass the water softener and filled the tub with soft water. Should I drain the tub and refill or will it be OK.

You should be okay so long as you add some Calcium Hardness Increaser.

I would drain about half and refill with unsoftened water.

Unless if gets really foamy leave it alone.  Its been said here the only reason people recommend adding any calcium is a carry over from pool mantenance. I don't think soft water is any harm to hot tub materials.

Gonna dissagree with the big kahuna here...

Soft water can be corrosive to the equipment and WILL cause foaming. It's an easy  adjustment with a calcium hardness increaser. Don't wait for problems to start but instead, make the adjustment now.

Do you know what your hardness reading is?

I agree with Steve, I will add that I do not pull the CH up as high as suggested though. I keep it at 100-150.

Never hesitate to do so.  I know my water is on the softer side, but probably in the range that Hillbilly suggested.
