Ozonator for jacuzzi 365

I ask in an earlier post if an ozonator was a good thing or not.  Most who replied thought it was worth the money as it cuts down on the amount of chemicals you have to use.  I called my dealer and was told it would be $100. to put it in once the tub gets to the dealership.  my dealer did not think they did much and really didn't try to sway me either way on whether I should have one or not.  I have no experience with this yet but it seems worth $100 to cut down on the chemicals.  How long do they function before needing to be replaced?  Thanks

I dont know what type of ozonator they are using, but for 100 you couldnt go wrong.   Sounds like an aftermarket ozonator, you might ask if its corona discharge or UV both will work fine but CD is better in my opinion.
