No Cloudy water

I'm kinda embarrassed to admit this to all you hot tub enthusiasts, but I don't use my hot tub much in summer.....hardly at all. It usually is so hot and humid here, that getting MORE hot and sticky is the last thing I want to do. That said, I have been curious as to why I can let my tub go for weeks, and I do mean weeks, without it getting cloudy. When I think about it, I throw some dichlor in it, but not very often. Granted, it's not getting used, but wouldn't the water still get yucky?  Just curious.
I have a Jetsetter with an Ionizer...or is that ozone...well, you know what I mean.
I am refilling as I type this since it is cooling off...yeah!!! :)
