Wait after Metal Gon?

Do you have to wait 24 hours after adding Metal Gon before doing the shock and using the tub? My local service place said that you should.

The only stipulation I've told people on Metal Gon (which sequesters metal) is don't add the Natrue 2 cartridge (which has metals) for a few days after adding Metal Gon.

Oh, great.  My Nature 2 cartridge, actually the Leisure Time brand, is sitting in the tub. I'm going to take it out right now.
