"Pond pump? Oh Zep, I knew I heard a story about someone dying as a result of electrocution from a pond pump. Did you tell it on here a while back? We have been working on redoing my watergarden and I tried to tell my son NOT to turn the pump on while he was standing in the pond." Yes Bonibelle I think I did relay the story on here. For those that missed it.My employee/coworker named Robin went to visit his elderly Mother one saturday afternoon. She informed him the pump in the small pond in her yard was "on the blink".Robin went out to check on it.He got in the water with his 7 year old grand-daughter watching from the edge.He started "messing with" or trying to fix... the pump and wiring.Unbeknownst to him fire ants had eaten through some of the wiring near the water's edge.I dont know the exact details, but somehow the exposed wire touched the water and he was instantly electrocuted.Robin was 52 years old, Christian guy, hard worker, grouchy but really a big teddy bear.Robin was at work on Friday and dead on Saturday. It can happen so quick, one mistake and boom you can be gone.It was very sad, such a waste. After his death, I went crazy buying GFI outlets. All my outside outlets , my kitchen, garage, bathrooms, ect now have GFI outlets.I hope telling this story might make someone be more carfeful and wary of the dangers of electric shock.I know Robin would want his story told if it helps someone not leave a family behind way too early.
Okay so I called tspas today. I asked about the FLO indicator. They said that it could be air in the lines and try bleeding. I then told them it is random and that if it were an air probelm i do not think it would be random. They said it could be a loose wire near the heater. I could not find it. I did bleed the lines when I refilled it and I am hoping that solves the problem. One thing I did notice... Pump one controls the back left seat and the middle seat on the left side. I notice that the preasure on the middle seat was not that strong and the weakest seat in the tub. I check and the valves are open and the jets are on. Could there be a clog or something or is this just a weak seat? If this problem continues I may need to call t-spas for a service call. Any thoughts?
