I just got a tiger river bengal!

The 4 way valve only works in 2 positions good.
The other positions are rattling quite a bit.
Is there a quick fix for it?
Is it a commen Problem?

Thanks for the help

If your tub is under warranty, the dealer will come fix this. If not, take your serial number and go buy a new diverter valve kit. It is not hard to install - it goes in from the top. Should quiet things down right away.

Hmmm
so you just pull the knob of and the hole thing comes apart??????

What would be the right procedure to take it apart.

thanks

Well, I don't know how old your tub is, but you pull the knob and trim ring off. You may have a white ring with two screws holding it down. That is a safety device. Take it off and set it aside. If not, skip to -

Then pull the snap ring out carefully. Note how it was inserted - there may be a right and wrong way. The newer tubs redesigned it so it doesn't matter, the older tubs it very much matters.

Then put the knob  - no trim ring - on the valve and turn it as you pull it up and out. If it is stuck, you can try to turn on the pump and let the water pressure help you, but that is a real mess, hard to control, and the core can come flying out and hit you. So keep it as a very last resort.

it came right apart.
The diverter valf had a lot of white resedue on it.
I cleand it and still the same noise, I assum that it is worn out.

A replacement should quiet things down. If your dealer doesn't have it in stock, let me know.
