Hot-tub cover and pets/cats

Getting an adult cat declawed, especially one that goes outside, is definitely NOT a good idea. Good luck!!

I had that same problem except it was my couch. There is a spray that you can get at any pet store that will keep them off of it.

There are also sticky pads that you can stick right on the cover, so they won't scratch it because they stick to it.

The aluminum foil doesn't work so easy, my cats figured out a way to rip it off and still scratch.
