I'm surprised the spa can put out Caldera like jet pressure with only two 2.0 HP Wavemaster Pumps. Does the Limelight bypass filtering method actually increase jet pressure compared to the conventional HS no bypass method?

 Its not no by-pass filtration, and they put a lot of holes in that spa.

Looking at the jet types, placement, etc., and knowing the dimensions...

2 - 2.0 HP Wavemasters should have no problem running that spa.  There are ample jet control valves to ensure enough pressure for a therapeutic massage.

Gotta give it to the boys at Watkins - that looks pretty well laid-out.  And that lighting really gets me - even if the spa has to be drained to change - that is cutting edge.

I may be mistaken but I think it is the made by Sloan and is the same system that Marquis is now using or is very similar.

Just looked at the Marquis site - I'm pretty sure you're right. (I still think it's a neat idea.)

I stand corrected, and I do agree that it's looking to grab that corner of the market.  I think they're doing a good job - it's an attractive spa.
I don't anticipate any greater difficulty selling against it, than against the other spas in my area.  Although, my presentation doesn't involve my competitors much (the customer needs to THINK ABOUT ME DANGIT!!!!).

It is funny you say that... this summer we sold a diamante spa at a few fairs and the lounge in it was shaped almost identical to this one and I thinking how close they appear to be when looking at this limelight....it does not look real inviting but surprisingly it was very very comfortable.

 I know your kidding, Jacuzzi has something similar in the J-200 spa line, not as many jets or lights, but still a price point spa. I use it to sell the upper end spa's.   Problem is if you make a lower end price point spa to nice, it can hurt your high end sellers.

I finally got mine. Wow - it looks better than I remember.

I was unloading the truck and trailer early this morning - and a guy came up. He wanted Big, a stereo, and Bling. I showed him the Limelight and new La Palma by taking them off the trailer, setting them down right there in the parking lot, and unwrapping them. He bought a LaPalma with stereo. If the larger Limelight had been ready to go, he would have bought that.

Good first showing, I would say.

We had a guy call in sick, so I just moved the two spas into the warehouse and left them near the door to the showroom. We have already shown it a couple more times, and I think we may have the Limelight sold.

They may not be 'hard to sell against,' but they also don't seem to be that hard to sell.
