My opinion is that that Bengal should be priced at least $1,000 dollars less than the Hamilton, as long as, both have the same options.  The Hamilton has basically the same warranty, is a bigger tub, has more pumps, and much better lighting options than the Bengal.

I think most dealers would agree that the Bengal priced at $8,000 is on the very high side.
I agree with you Chris... I bought my Bengal for 6,500.  and looking at the site with the Hamilton on it... I don't think you would be comparing apples to apples.. the Hamilton is a much bigger tub.

Smitty, I am curious.. what did you end up going with??

Neither the Bengal or the Hamilton.  We ended up getting a Hot Spring Vanguard.  For not a heck of a lot more money, the Vanguard gives much more flexibility in jet control.  We like the moto massagers as well.

Good choice Smitty!! I traded my Bengal for the Vista... much happier.. more room, and I love the versatility in the different Jets.  Not to mention the Moto DX :)

Got a call from the dealer today on my Vanguard that I ordered recently.  It seems that the 2007 models are no longer being produced.  Looks like I'll be getting a 2008 model for the 2007 price.

The only changes are a different skirt design and added LED lighting behind the head rests.  I guess I can live with this problem.  :)

The electrician just finished the wiring last week.  70 feet of #6 wire was run from my main panel to the back deck.  I just got the call from my dealer today that the Vanguard is in.  They're coming out Saturday morning at 9 am for the install.  Will it be heated up in time for a late evening soak?

Yes. Your spa will heat 5-7 degrees an hour. Even if it takes them until 12 pm(highly unlikely) and your tap water is 45(that's low ballin it), you'd still be soakin by 10pm at the latest. Enjoy!! I'll be in K.C celebrating Christmas trying to battle the snow storm that's suppose to be comin in. By the time I get home though, I'll be able to enjoy my first snow soak of the season. :)

My Vanguard was delivered this morning and is heating up.  The water temp. was 68 at 2:30.  I can't wait to see what it looks like at night.  The exterior Clarion lighting should really enhance the effect.

The snowstorm is just starting here in Ohio so it should be a nice night for a first soak.
