our tub is here
« on: November 12, 2007, 09:18:21 pm »
Well after a month of long hard work prepping our yard we finally got the tub installed on Friday. We added on a 10x12 deck about 9 ft in the air.We also had to upgrade the electric service to the house because we only had a 100 amp service before and the tub required 60 amps it's self.I had my first soak Saturday morning followed by the wife Saturday night. We bought a 2008 Reflections Elegante. Here is a pic of the new deck with out the rail installed.

Since you've got your tub up high like that, it looks like you can spy into your neighbors' yards while in for a soak.
I salute your twist on a common hot tub screening problem!   ;D

Looks good.  Congrats on the new tub!

Besides being able to look down on the neighbors  ;D I like the fact that you have a better view of the night sky. For that matter sunrise should look mighty fine also  :D

Enjoy Spatopia!

The only thing we are concerned with is figuring out how to finish the rai lfor some privacy but still be able to see out if we wanted to.

It might not really fit your architecture but the Glass panes/Plexiglas(?) with the only solid piece being the top railing are somewhat popular.

What about  some type of open pergola.  You could attach outdoor bamboo blinds on as many sides as you needed,  and roll them down when you wanted privacy.  Enjoy your tub!

looks great, I agree with a pergola and maybe those wooden blinds on the sides that you want privacy
