Well after 2 years of dreaming and homework on hot tubs I finally took the
plunge and purchased my hot tub. (Please excuse the pun!)
I wanted an all seater American tub (I live in Leicestershire England) we're
getting a lot of chines tubs imported here at the moment and I didn't want
one of those. I looked at most of what I considered the
quality American makes then I heard from a friend of a Dimension One
Sojourn 8 months old as new being sold due to a divorce . The tub cost him
£7,200 pounds I gave him £2,900 and smiled all the way home. The only thing
missing from the tub was the drinks tray so I contact my nearist D1 dealer.
He seemed a decent chap and told me he would get me a price for the tray. He
said there would be no warranty on the tub as it had changed owners, which I
already knew but at the price I paid i'll stand my own warranty. I could not
be more happy with my tub and all the family love it . It's now been
six weeks and 4 phone calls but still not even a price for the tray. Does
the fact that I purchased an 8 month old D1 mean I will not be able to get parts
should I need them ? The dealer seems to give me a different excuse every time
I call . Are all the D1 dealers in the uk going to look down there noses at
me because I didn't buy new ?
