So I've been lurking here for awhile now, just waiting for my tub to get up and running before boring you with silly questions and such.
Been soaking in the new Jacuzzi J-480 for almost 2 weeks now, and It's Fabulous! Wish I would have done this years ago! We looked at pretty much all the top brands, but finally went with the Jacuzzi. The low pressure pumps seemed to be less stingy than the others, and the wife didn't float out as easily. We also went that way for the dealer's service reputation. The store isn't far from us, and he's been there selling pools and Jacuzzis for over 20 years, I guess he's not going anywhere too soon.
So first off let's see if I can get up a picture or two...

First we had a EP HENRY patio with lighted sitting wall installed, then had the tub delivered and wired.
The whole thing took about 2 months, so I was chomping at the bit to get in it and SOAK!

Well that's my new vacation spot for a few years... Let me know what you think...
Here's a link to more shots of the whole project:

I'll start asking the silly question later
Cheers,

Wow, that's spectacular!  8-)

The patio is just ridiculous. Great job! Thanks for sharing.

Congratulations and welcome to the Jacuzzi Club,

Chad

Welcome to the site.  I don't think those installers left a single place they didn't crawl on or under!  And a women running the backhoe, impressive!
...The gene pool could use a little chlorine....

Thanks for the thumbs-up, guys.

Not meaning to disappoint you ndabunka, but the lady on the backhoe is just the wife clowning around. She really doesn't know a backhoe from a Tonka truck LOL. But yeah, the patio gang did do a top-notch job. I was a bit worried about the pitch (1/8" per foot) but having a one inch difference across the entire tub is hardly noticable.

The only disappointing thing from Jacuzzi so far is the lame rubber duck that they gave me...It floats... upside down!

Oh Well
Off to soak...
