Question about Hot Spring Jets
« on: September 15, 2007, 09:02:25 am »
Can anyone tell me if I can switch around some jets on my 06 Envoy.  I would like to try switching the 2 Dual Port Rotary jets on the back wall with the 2 Soothing Seven jets on the right wall next to the lounger.  I have looked in the manual, but can't find any instructions as to how to do it.

Thanks,
Rich

Can't do it.  Soothing Seven are bigger.  As you probably know you can trade Rotary for standard jets.

I think you can add mini spinners like your wrist jets.

Thanks Dan.  Problem is that I like the rotary jets.  It's the soothing seven that don't do much for me.  Oh well.  :(

Maybe the engineers can come up with a reducer so we can put rotary jets where the soothing seven are.  I will forward your suggestion to Watkins.  You can to at www.hotspring.com

Did I read here somewhere that you can change the faceplate of the single moto-massage so that it feels more like a dual? Seems I did....any info on that?

There is a faceplate you can change out for a different feel.  It is questionable whether it makes it feel more like dual port.

If you are interested in one, PM me and I can get you a price.

The alternative faceplate for the motomassage reduces pressure even more.  Instead of the four holes, it has a total of eight or so smaller ones and does not feel like the DX at all.

First time I've ever heard that.  The jet isn't changed at all.  I'm not sure that what you are saying is true.

There is an alternate faceplate for the moto.  I saw it in the store.  Ive never used it, but imagine that it would give the moto a different feel.
