10 k  seems to be a little low.  Ive seen 11- 11, 800.  Keep in mind it is not a small spa. I think it is 8' long

Ok I will chime in, the Dupree Bay is a great spa however, if you take a look at the cost of the Dupree Bay vs the cost of the Lotus bay, you will find them to be so similar that the Lotus is an even better value, as they both take up about the same space. The only real difference is they have essentially cut the corners off the Dupree Bay. Wow $10,200 sounds like a dealer who dont plan on being in business for long! >:(

BTW you should be able to buy that Dupree for $11.5k and the Lotus for only $700 more.  ;)

Gee, I would have moved a lot of mature shrubs to make the room for that spa, at that price!  :o
With my space requirements I couldn't fit it; the price w/o negotiating $11,879.00, (for the one you have been quoted) To me it sounds like you have an awsome deal. IMHO.

Heck, Spaman leaves this site for a year or so and now he's posting things that make sense?!?! I guess getting away from Cal Spas has worked!  ;) ;D

I've always thought that Dupree looks pretty sharp in a picture and probably is a great performer but $11k for a 2 person spa? I know it's not your everyday 2-seater and they're trying to sell it like it's a Lamborgeenie but I guess I'm too conservative. I totally agree that the Lotus seems like such a better buy for the exact reason he stated, it's the Dupree but they decided to build the rest of the spa, not just a big wedge!

We've probably sold as many or more Dupree's than any dealer in the nation...

That price is very good, as far as if it is worth it...Here are some interesting statistics for you;

1. Just about every customer that has bought one has been a second or third time buyer,
2. All of them have expressed that it is the best massage they've ever received in a spa.
3. When asked none of them would change it for a larger model

In my opinion it is the perfect spa for the same person that prefers a Porsche to a Suburban! (did I really suggest that someone would buy a 2 person auto for more than an 8 person one!?!? What is the matter with me!!??[/b]) ;) 8-)
