hi,
Like many others I have been visiting this site very often over the past year or so and have gleaned a wealth of information and I thank everyone for that.
I have recently (1 month) has my 2007 optima installed and running like a champ. The information I received from this site was instrumental to my decision and yes I wet tested the hell out of several spas before making the final decision.
Now to my question. First I have chlorinated city water and I use dichlor (basically Vermonter's method). All my reading are in the ballpark, I am using test strips, but the Taylor Kit is ordered, except for hardness which is very low.
My question is, what is/are the issues/problems with having calcium low. I understand too high causes problems with accumulation on parts and so on, but am not sure about too low.
Any information would be help this newbie progress in his water chemisrty understanding.
Thanks
