Spa / Deck - Photos
« on: July 06, 2007, 03:40:45 pm »
Hello again,

We’ve had our spa (Sundance Optima) for almost 2 months now and are REALLY LOVING IT.

Our yard/deck is finally set up, so as promised, here are some photos of the installation we worked so hard at over the past months. I hope you enjoy them.

The photos and advice we got to see on this forum helped a bunch in our decision and design process. Thanks to everyone that posts here, and to the people that directly and indirectly helped us along the way.

Ciao!

Ditto, love the towel rack as well, would provide some privacy in the right setting as well. Congrats on a fantastic job all around.

Looks nice but you need to bring the boots in more often. Stuff is starting to grow out of them!

That looks beautiful. Great work!  I especially like the towel hooks and the wall.  Where is your spa cover and lifter?  Which side is your panel, on the side with the waterfall?

Wow, very nice. Lots of color. Where do you live? I really like the siding on your homes. Where I live it's all stucco....
2005 Hot Spring Envoy still going strong. Million-Mile Club....

I want to get in the spa business so I can surf the internet and use Photoshop all day long.

I can answer all 3 questions. The spa cover is leaning against the house in the 3rd pic. There is obviously no lifter and the equipment compartment is located in the side that is up against the deck. :)

Very good chad   :)

We have the lifter but haven’t installed it yet. I don't really like the look of them but we'll probably have to install it in the fall since it will be tricky to just lean it up against the house once the snow comes.

The panel is up against the deck. The panel side of the spa is also the best side to enter and exit the tub. After getting advice on this forum, we put in a removable section of the deck to allow for maintenance.

We live in Montreal. The siding is Canexel. We built our home 10 years ago and the siding still looks great. Here is more info on it :

Thank you all for the nice comments.

Hey ASAP, where did you buy the hooks from that are on the wall, we are making a cedar robe rack and are looking for good hooks. Thanks in advance,

Pete

Great pics!!  Thanks so much for sharing.  You have a gorgeous setup, but I would suggest the cover lift as you mentioned for a few months from now, (not my favorite part of our tub either) since I have visited your part of Canada and you will need to rush out, whip it open, and jump in during your cold months!!

Enjoy!!
