Pictures speak 1000 words :)  Play the part of Joe Blow customer, ask tons of questions, and ask to take pics.

Look forward to hearing what you learned etc.

I prefer "Sammy S. Spa" or "Harry Hot Tub" or "Freddy Full Foam".  Joe Blow is very obvious. (or a JA would say, oblivious)

Well, it was a huge dissapointment, from a spa stand point.  All the big names have pulled out this year.  The big spa name was Royal  [smiley=huh.gif] There was another called  Spa Manufacturers, and their spas looked like generic cheap crap. Hydro Spa was also there.  I honesty didn't see a spa I would take if it was given to me.

Ate lots of good fair food.

The fairs have been jacking up their rental prices over the last few years.  In CA they want $60,000 to $100,000 for the space.

Then you pay for salespeople and hotels.  Cost of set up, etc.

Most major players have gotten smart and gotten out of most fairs.

As always....state fairs, home shows, or retail stores....all rely on consumers ready to buy.  home show overhead has increased and traffic has decreased, not a winning combination.  I continue to do home shows but in a smaller capacity.  Ultimatey, only certain tubs sell and we are taking those to market.......The Orlando Home Show is at the end of September......stop by and buy......
