Halloween Costumes
« on: October 05, 2007, 11:18:51 am »
Okay, I'm trying to get a family theme going this year and right now it looks like pirates is winning.  This is doubly awesome because now each year when I celebrate International Talk Like a Pirate Day I will have something to wear.   :)  Now I am Leader of my son's Cub Scout Den and we will have a carnival with the pack, so I have to get something semi appropriate.  I want something fun, but not totally skanky.  I will also be wearing it to J's office when I trick or treat with the kids.  Now his office gets into Halloween and about 70% of the office dresses up, I just don't want to look like a street walker or anything...  Oh and I will be dropping the kids off at school and picking them up in this, so I want to be appropriate, and tasteful, but semi-sexy if there is such a thing.

I plan to eat my halloween candy and unwind after all the hardwork of walking the streets collecting it in my newly filled bromine hot tub.

Any feedback??

{crawling back on my chair...} :o

I think ANY of those would be just fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine... Just make sure it includes fishnets! :D

For a clear understanding of what you are doing, I think we would like a picture of you in your final choice outfit!

Maybe we should ALL do that. Post a pic of us in our Halloween get-ups!

1st pick = Skanky, at least in Cub Scout world.

Don't get me wrong, I like it personally!

Other 2 are OK but the second looks more "pirate-y" while the third one looks a bit like Yankee Doodle Dandy's sea faring mistress...

I'll vote for costume # 2 but I'd be happy if you chose any of the 3.  ;)

Well it looks like #2 is winning both her and from my Myspace bulletin, lol.  I'm going to go to a Halloween store tomorrow and see what they have in person.  If I can find the charger to my camera I will take some pics of what I decide.   ;)  That or you can try to blackmail doc with some pics (not of my halloween costume, but of pics in general, lol).   ::)

OK...  I bought this one, but it is too big.  I'm hoping I can find another store that has it in a small and I can exchange the medium.

Only kinda hot, lol, I'm so dissapointed.   :-[  Nah, I'm no POTD, I'm just average housewife material.... except for my feet, them are hot.   ;D

Didn't you know doc and I ran off to Mexico together last year when he was driving through Cali?    ;)  Oh wait, I'm happily married too.

There's pics of me all over here, I'm sure you've seen me plenty of times.  But I think doc has seen a few better from either my myspace account or from IM.

What's with the excessive material there term?
If you can't sell it on eBay, it may not even qualify as landfill.

Where did your picture go Brooke?  I liked it!

Your costume was a helluva lot better than mine.  Halloween sucked this year:
