Ozanator or not?
« on: July 17, 2007, 01:32:47 pm »
For my Sundance, the ozanator is an optional extra!! (that will teach me for going for one of the cheaper models!!)  :D

I liked the sensation when we tried the Sunbelt spa and I mistakenly thought the Chelsee had it!   :-/

Anyways, I would like to purchase one of these - how hard are they to fit?  :-?

Finally - can you give your opinion on ozanators? Do you think it is money well spent?  ::)

Cheers in advance  8-)
Nosh.

All Sundance Spas have that as an optional feature.  Some dealers include it in the purchase price and some do not.  I would explain ozone as an insurance policy if you forget to add your chemicals.

Another way to look at it is you're not paying for it unless you want it.  Either way you pay.

I ran my spa with ozonator for four years.  This past year I have run without.  Ozonators definitely help with water maintenance.  Money well spent...I am not quite sure.  If I were to buy a new spa, I do not think I would add an ozonator.  I have water maintenance down to a science so the extra help isn't doing much for me and I am convinced that ozone contributes to the breakdown of headrests and the underside of covers.
