Hi Craig,
Like I said before, you should definately give Bill's thoughts more weight than mine, but I really like this! It is easier to find the old posts, it seems much friendlier. I think the other users will like this much better than the current forum. We may still have a few complaints..but at this point I can't imagine what they would be....I don't really see anything that should make them unhappy about this ! So my vote is yes..lets see what Bill says

My court ordered psychologist and Parole officer say I don't do well with change, but I think this is for the better.

The new /old forum is back and it is awesome. Now if we can get the POD back it will really be a great day! Term can't you come up with something we can argue about like Hot Springs being maybe number 4 in sales of tubs?
just kidding

Well, Mr Admin, How do you feel about the "picture of the day"? In previous messages, you mentioned the old board became a resource hog. Were the pictures part of that? Personally, I did enjoy some of the pictures, but it became a nuisance to moderate. There are enough places on the web to find pictures of women in various stages of undress. I don't think we need to be that site. However, the photos that did show great tubs, and interesting landscaping were a definite benefit. Your thoughts?
PS, nobody has attempted to stop a POD thread since we changed the forum, but I don't miss being judge, jury, and executioner. It did create some hard feeling. I enjoy good looking women in hot tubs as much as anyone, but I'm not good at being the moral compass.

Are you talking about the search field and (Search) button at the top right on the title bar? I'd be happy if it worked. No matter what I search for, the result is (no results found).
The Search Tab at the left of the same bar does work, and thank you.
Also nice to be able to subscribe to a topic again.

Bill, I think the issue with POD arose because there were no clear limits. So would you be up for setting some clear limits..like no bare "parts" etc. and no pictures that don't include hot tubs? I think as long as no one is offended and it doesn't evolve into something that new viewers would consider offensive and inappropriate, we could successfully moderate it.
Maybe the key thought could be for these guys that post to imagine the picture being their daughters
and would they feel good with everyone here viewing them??
This is your call entirely and I have probably raised the most concern when some of the trashy pictures were posted. So I am not chaning my mindset that this is first a forum about hot tubs and helping folks purchase and maintain. And I really don't think the forum gains business just because of POD, but some of the members enjoy it...

OK, this is really cool...when I typed preview for my previous post, a red letter message came up to alert me that someone had already responded to the post that I was responding to. It let me know to view the post because I might want to change my response.
Tom, I have no problem with the search function on the right side...to the right of the little magnifying glass. It pulled up stuff from years ago. I don't see a search on the left side.
